He was invited into the board in a non-executive capacity on 25th February 2008. Mr Sokomba is an accomplished Pharmacist who has garnered considerable experience in Research/ Teaching, University Administration, State Health Service Management and NAFDAC where he was a past Director He has been very involved in the management of the “Fund for Integrated Rural Development and Traditional Medicine” as Secretary/Board Member since 1997. He is also a member of the Technical Committee on collation of Research work on Nigeria Medical Plants and Traditional Medical Practices for the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency. He is a professor of pharmacology at the University of Jos.
