With the gradual but steady expansion of the business of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc, upgrade of manufacturing facility and a strong determination for consolidation and profitability, it became necessary to create and fill some key emergent positions at top management level so as to take advantage of growing pharmaceutical market opportunities.

Consequently, the Board of Directors of the company has approved the appointment of directors to handle certain key responsibilities without necessarily being members of the board.  The new appointees will strengthen the Executive Directors in key strategic planning and decision making processes.

Mr. Isaac Igbanoi is appointed Director of Sales Operations.  A graduate of Auchi Polytechnic, holds Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing.  He joined Pfizer Products Plc (prior to divestment) in 1990 as Consumer Sales Representative, and held various Sales and Marketing positions rising to the position of Associate Director and Head of Consumer Product Group (CPG) business, in 2007.

In this new responsibility, Isaac is expected to plan and coordinate Sales cells and Marketing in the new restructured Neimeth business.

Pharm. Roseline Akunjeri Oputa  is appointed  Director of Administration and Corporate Programmes.  This is a new creation with a focus on General Administration, Human Resources, Special Projects, Corporate Programmes and Business Development, Field Force Training and Skilling and Customer Satisfaction: with definite mandate to drive our people to achieve new growth objectives.  Mrs.  Oputa will also coordinate the activities of Corporate Affairs.

Rose obtained her first degree in Pharmacy at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in 1990. She joined the company in 1992 as Sales Representative. She had held managerial and management positions including District Manager, Sales Training Manager, National Demand Manager, Marketing Manager, etc. She was promoted Associate Director, Ethical Products Group in October 2007, a position she held prior to this new appointment.

Pharmacist Adeyiga Olorunfemi Ojakoya is appointed Director of Strategic Planning & International Markets (STRAPIMS)

In this new responsibility, Femi will focus on business Development, creative and innovative international market penetration, expansion of Neimeth ECOWAS business and ensure the exportation of Neimeth  two unique products – NCP and Ciklavit to the USA and Europe.

Femi obtained the B. Pharmacy degree from the University of Ibadan in 1985 and holds MSC degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Institute of Public Analysts.

Femi joined the company (prior to divestment) in 1992 as New Products/GMP Coordinator. He served in several managerial and management positions at both the Manufacturing Plant and the Corporate Head Quarters. He was appointed to the position of Associate Director, Technical Services in 2003.  Prior to this new appointment, Femi was Head, Strategic Planning and International Markets (STRAPIMS).

Mrs. Florence Ifeoma Onyenekwe, is appointed General Manager Finance/Company Secretary. She will continue in her current position as company secretary and will be reporting to the Finance Director.

Florence obtained her ACA professional qualification in Accountancy in 1991 and BSC degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University – 2009, respectively. She joined the company as Auditor/Systems Manager and became Finance Controller and Company Secretary in 2001.

Florence is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants of Nigeria and was Finance Controller/Company Secretary prior to this new appointment.

These new appointments are with effect from November 1, 2013.
