AS THE WAR AGAINST EVD RAGES ON, NEIMETH DONATES 5000 UNITS OF NCP 25ML TO SEPLAT
Today, the current local and global challenge of the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) has made it imperative that Nigerians protect themselves through regular hand washing or use of sanitizers where there is no water as a credible way of averting the Virus and other disease causing germs.
The management of Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals Plc led by Pharm. Emmanuel Ekunno visited Seplat in Lagos to donate 5000 units of ncp x 25ml. According to the CEO who was represented by Mr. Chris Mmeje the Finance Director, Neimeth’s sensitivity to its economic environment has led to the quick response to the needs of the citizenry towards preventive steps in the fight against the ebola disease. Neimeth developed a pocket convenient and wallet friendly pack size of its legendry Nigerian Complete Protection (NCP) antiseptic/disinfectant.
The ncp 25ml pack donated presents the same quality phenolic based antiseptic/disinfectant that eradicates microbes, germs and viruses. Introducing this pack, Neimeth identified a number of centres of need such as hospitals, government institutions, corporate organizations to place NCP as part of her corporate social responsibility towards the fight against the ebola disease.
Seplat has been a valued buyer of Neimeth products over the years which are extended to their host communities. This donation of 5000 units of 25ml NCP is Neimeth’s little way of saying thank you, and to support Seplat CSR commitment to those communities in her areas of operation.
It is expected that through regular hand washing, and disinfecting of hands with drops of NCP liquid, in addition to ensuring personal and environmental hygiene, we can all win the combined war against the Ebola disease.
Receiving the products on behalf of Seplat, the GM, Health, Safety and Community Development, Mr. Bright Oghor thanked Neimeth and said “donating this to us at this time of Ebola outbreak is highly remarkable”. He added that whatever we can get from Neimeth will never be too much. He on behalf of Seplat expressed their gratitude and believed that the gesture will strengthen the relationship already existing between Neimeth and Seplat.
The event was witnessed by a cross section of the management and staff of Seplat as shown in the photographs below.
